Knowing your body shape is essential when finding clothes
and feeling fabulous. It can be a challenge knowing exactly what shape you are.
However with a little knowledge, you will easily be able to identify yourself and dress to impress.
The different body shapes are named after fruits/objects
that represent how the body is formed.
The Pear
The top section of the body is the smallest whilst the
bottom is the largest, The waist is defined, shoulders are narrow with a small chest. Hips,
thighs and bottom carry the most weight.
The Hourglass
The shoulders and hips have equal width while the waist is
small and defined. Hips, thighs and bust
are fuller as weight builds there.
The Apple
The body doesn’t have any particular defined features but the
shoulders are broad, bust is full while hips are thinner. The middle of the body holds the most weight.
The Banana
The top and lower sections of the body are balanced but unlike an hourglass the waist is not defined. Weight does not stick to one area, it is an even spread.
